Here at Sherlock Maintenance we offer a home watch service in Nottingham that puts your mind at rest.
The Holmes Watch Service provides you with piece of mind and less worry while your away on holiday, your holiday home is empty or your work requires you to work away from home.
While your away we will visit your home twice everyday for residential and twice a week for holiday homes, monitoring your house for piece of mind.
Our staff will be given a checklist of areas and items that need to be checked to ensure no (if any) potential leaks, damages to property or garden area have occurred, or are about to happen while your away.
If anything minor like a fence had blown down or guttering had begun to leak we will notify you by email, and you can get back to us in your own time if you want us to repair it, we will then supply you with a quote beforehand.
If a leak or an attempted burglary were to occur it would be handled through the right channels and you to be notified in an instance.
You will also have direct phone contact to Teresa Holmes our Customer Service Relations Manager if you ever need to speak with her.
Property visited twice daily, everyday
Test fire alarms
Make sure house alarm is functioning properly
Flush/check all toilets
Run/check all taps
Removal of letters and newspapers from front door & put in a safe place
Function of fridge/freezer checked
Curtains drawn morning and night
Setup timers for lights
Potential areas for leaks checked
Exterior locks and windows checked for any forced entry
All rooms visually checked
Any indoor plants watered
plumbing failures reported to you in an instance and stopped
Attempted break-ins or break-ins reported to you in an instance and dealt with through the right channels
Minor damages notified by email
We can start your cars if you wish
Direct contact with our CSR while your away

Act as your local contact for such immediate concerns as alarm, fire/police, neighborhood associations, deliveries etc. – a liaison to you. Someone to make local decisions for you in your absence.
If your home has internet access we will install two of our own wireless I.P. Cameras to the front and back of your home.
These cameras only require a plug socket to operate and will be placed inside on a window sill.
They will provide us with 24 hour monitoring and give you an extra piece of mind.
The cameras will be directly connected to our phone, and if someone was to walk in front of the cameras field of sight we will be alerted straight away by phone notification and live video.

Once you go ahead with your chosen package we will arrange to meet you beforehand to collect a key and for you to sign the relevant paperwork our CSR would of discussed with you prior to our visit
Once you leave for your holiday or holiday home becomes empty, Your Holmes watch service will then commence promptly the same day.
You can then sit back and relax knowing your home is in good hands
